Nothing sucks more than wifi at RV parks so I am constantly on the hunt for the best wifi extender for RV’s. If you work on the road, like a lot of RVers, then you know the struggles of getting a good wi-fi signal so that you can get some work done, or just update your blog. I’ve tried a few wifi extenders for our RV but the one that has worked the best for me is the Crane USB WiFi Antenna Extender.
With the included 15ft usb cable you can mount it inside or out, with multiple mounting options. On average, you can expect to reach wifi networks up to 400 ft away, even through walls. It is multi directional so you can pick up signals from any direction and do not have to worry about aiming it. If there’s a signal, this thing will find it!
How to use the best WiFi Extender for your RV:
To use the wifi booster, just attach the Crane to a window in your RV with the provided suction cups and plug the usb cable from that into your laptop’s USB ports. I definitely recommend mounting the antenna outside and high up as possible to get the best reception, and the most bang for your buck!
One USB is for wifi and the other is for power, but you can get away with only using one port if that’s all you have. However, if possible, I recommend using both for maximum distance. This will work on any wi-fi network up to 2.4Ghz (b, g, n), but it will not work with 5Ghz networks.
I honestly don’t know what else I can say about this amazing wifi extender. If you’re looking for the best wifi exentder for your RV, then look no further.
